Hot Chip’s new one, the debut video by talented comedian and uncanny Wogan impersonator Peter Serafinowicz, is a wish-fulfillment dream for anyone who a) would like to control a boyband with bolts of electricity streaming from their mouth, or b) like to be a disembodied head destroying all trace of manufactured pop nonsense by firing lazer beams from the eyes. And then, of course, there’s c), for a nerdy looking band that want to be portrayed as fit young guys who make young girls scream.
