On December 6th designer Lila Nikole, alongside her friend and business partner, Model/Actress Aisha Thalia teamed up with LMNT Art Gallery to put together ‘Fusion,’ a fashion and art show during Art Basel 2012.
This “mash-up” fundraiser that was comprised of fashion, fashion shows, music, live performances, photography and other mixed media art outlets will took place at LMNT and is poised to be one of the most talked about events in South Florida.
Fusion’s main goal is to give back to youth centers and charities that help underprivileged at risk youth in the greater Miami-Dade area.
The fashion show showcased designs from Art of Shade, Lisu Vegaand the Art Institute – ranging from Art of Shade’s hip fashions that are composed of recycled materials to Lisu Vega’s high fashion designs that were featured in 2012′s Miami Beach International Fashion Week.
